Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils requiring additional assistance.
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote independence and confidence.
- Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers.

- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a primary school, nursery, childcare, or educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant, Learning Support, Childcare, or Education qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- First Aid qualification.
If you are a compassionate, enthusiastic, and committed individual looking to support children in achieving success both academically and personally, we would love to hear from you.
