Teaching Assistant Wanted - Early Years / Key Stage 1 (Full time / Part Time)
Simply Education are seeking an enthusiastic and caring teaching assistant to join the team at a lively and high achieving primary school in North Hykeham. In this rewarding role, you will be supporting the classroom teacher to provide an enriching, nurturing environment for our reception / early years pupils.
Position Details:
- Full time Monday to Friday (part time applications also welcomed)
- Support the teaching and learning in an early years classroom setting
- Assist with the planning and delivery of educational sessions and activities
- Promote positive behaviours and monitor / report student progress
- Provide individual attention to students to help them build foundational skills
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom environment
Desirable Skills:
- Prior experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patient, compassionate, and approachable manner
- Passion for childcare / education and nurturing young minds
- Ability to implement behaviour strategies
- Comfortable working with learners on a group or one to on basis.
