Teaching Assistant Opportunities – September 2024

Simply Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants for full-time and part-time roles starting in September 2024. These positions are to provide support within local Primary schools, working either 1:1 or as a classroom TA.

Teaching Assistant Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of the curriculum and ensure all students are able to achieve their full potential. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of educational needs

Assisting with lesson preparation, delivery, and classroom management

Encouraging positive pupil behaviour and building trusting relationships

Supporting with administrative tasks, record keeping, and reporting

Supervising students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities where required

Requirements:

Experience working with children/young people in an educational setting

Strong communication abilities

Patient, caring, and compassionate nature

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Commitment to ensuring all students reach their full potential
