I am seeking a dynamic Social Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Northamptonshire. As a Social Science Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and motivating students, fostering their curiosity and love for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Sciences, catering to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Stay updated with curriculum developments and implement innovative teaching strategies.
You will need:
-An Enhanced DBS on the update service
-Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum
-Experience delivering and presenting a lesson.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student well-being.
-Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
-All candidates are required to complete a Safeguarding course, or provide a certificate dated within the last three years. All candidates will have commitment to and responsibility for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people to the relevant extent of the role.
