We are working closely with a reputable primary school in the Aylesbury area, who are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team to work in their Early Years Classroom. This is a temporary position starting in April and continuing until the end of the summer term. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support students' learning and development.
Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional help
Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
Support students with special educational needs or disabilities
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
Knowledge of the primary school curriculum
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards working with children
Current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to undergo one.
