We are currently looking for an excellent English teacher to join a school based in Northamptonshire. The school is dedicated to expanding the knowledge and have an ambition to inspire students. We are looking for experienced teachers who are suitable for ECT’s, have a degree in English Literature or Language, and able to evidence raising levels of achievement and attainment.
The schools offer a supportive and welcoming department and team. They can offer a smooth transition into the role and full support will be given. This is a full planning role, where planning and staff meetings will be required.
The requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Suitable for ECTs
• Degree in English Literature or Language
• Evidence of recent professional development
• Evidence of raising levels of achievement and attainment
• Effective use of data to inform planning.
• Experience of lesson planning and effective assessment for learning
• Maintaining a high standard of teaching and learning
• The central role of ICT in teaching and learning
• Curriculum issues and development
• Improvement – raising achievement.
