A one-day course designed to help new Teaching Assistants with limited relevant experience understand essential classroom approaches and strategies for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provisions. As the government’s push for inclusion progresses, more children with significant educational needs will be present in mainstream classrooms.

Summary
This course must be completed before inexperienced SEND TAs are placed, in line with compliance guidance.
