1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £88.92 - £110 per day
Are you passionate about supporting students and providing tailored assistance to help them thrive? Simply Education are looking for a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Stoke-on-Trent.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in a student's academic and personal development by providing targeted one-to-one support.
The Role:
- Provide personalised support to a student with specific learning needs, both in and outside of the classroom.
- Assist the student in accessing the curriculum, adapting materials and activities as needed.
- Support the student's emotional, social, and academic development.
- Encourage independent learning skills and confidence.
- Work closely with the class teacher to ensure the student's learning plan is followed.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support behaviour management strategies and interventions where required.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students with additional needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3) is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in a 1:1 role is an advantage but not essential.
