1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Alsager, Cheshire
Pay: £83.33 - £95.75 per day (dependent on payroll choice)
Start Date: April and September 2025 available

About the Role:
Simply Education is working in partnership with a specialist school in Alsager, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. This welcoming and supportive school provides high-quality education for autistic students aged 4 to 19.
With small class sizes of around seven students and a total of 80 students on roll, the school ensures that every child receives the individual attention and tailored support they need. The team is dedicated to creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where students feel safe, respected, and empowered to achieve.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working 1:1 with a student, offering them consistent guidance, encouragement, and support throughout the school day. What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 support to a student, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
- Assisting with learning activities, encouraging engagement and participation.
- Supporting the student with emotional regulation and communication, using strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and sensory integration.
- Helping to create a positive and structured learning environment where the student can thrive.
- Working closely with teachers and therapists to follow a personalised learning plan.
- Encouraging independence and self-confidence in everyday tasks.

- Someone who enjoys working 1:1 and forming strong, positive relationships with students.
- Experience in special educational needs is helpful but not essential - we welcome applicants who are eager to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families.
