About the Role
Simply Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Childcare Practitioners to join an exceptional early years setting in Liverpool (L3 1DL). This nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years, focusing on promoting their development through structured activities that are fun and engaging. With a strong commitment to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, the setting ensures that every child's educational and developmental needs are met in an inclusive and encouraging space.

As a Childcare Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the EYFS framework, delivering creative learning experiences, and helping children build essential skills for their future. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities for supply, short-term, or long-term placements, many of which have the potential for permanent employment.

Requirements

  • Minimum six months' experience in a nursery or early years setting (enthusiastic newcomers are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Ability to provide a 10-year checkable work and education history.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to complete two years of referencing and undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Deliver age-appropriate activities that support the EYFS framework, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Encourage communication, social skills, and creativity through guided play and structured learning activities.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your care.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to continuously improve the learning environment.
