About the Role

This nursery provides a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children aged 0-5 years are supported in their learning and development. The setting is committed to delivering high-quality care based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, helping each child to reach their full potential.

As a Childcare Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the EYFS framework, delivering creative and engaging learning activities that encourage cognitive, social, and emotional development. Requirements

  • Minimum six months' experience in a nursery or early years setting (enthusiastic newcomers are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Ability to provide a 10-year checkable work and education history.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to complete two years of referencing and undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Deliver age-appropriate activities that support the EYFS framework and promote learning and development.
  • Encourage communication, social skills, and cognitive growth through structured play and hands-on learning.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve the setting and enhance learning experiences for children.
