This opportunity is ideal for a teacher who can deliver engaging, forward‑thinking lessons and inspire pupils to develop strong digital and computational skills. The school is looking to appoint immediately and welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and confident ECTs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Teach core topics including programming and algorithms, data representation, cybersecurity and computational thinking

• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum expectations

• Support pupils of varying abilities to ensure strong progress

• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment

• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning

• Provide constructive feedback to support pupil attainment

• Participate in wider school life including duties, parents' evenings and CPD

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and related technologies

• Ability to inspire and motivate learners through creative and practical teaching

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Confident classroom management and excellent communication skills
