Deputy Nursery Manager / Nursery Manager (Part-Time - 25 Hours)
Are you an experienced and passionate childcare professional looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager or Nursery Manager to join our well-established and nurturing early years setting.
About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care, education, and safeguarding for all children. You will support the nursery team, lead by example, and work closely with staff and parents to create a positive and enriching environment for children to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery alongside the management team.
- Ensure the nursery complies with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and support staff to maintain outstanding childcare practices.
- Build strong relationships with parents, children, and the wider community.
- Support with planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
About You:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
- Have previous experience in a leadership or senior role within a nursery or early years setting.
- Possess excellent knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
- Be passionate about early childhood education and child development.
- Have strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
