We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Early Careers Teacher (ECT) dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with SEND and SEMH needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your teaching career in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Role Summary
As an ECT Teacher within our SEND and SEMH settings, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of students with additional needs. You will have the opportunity to develop tailored lesson plans, implement individualised learning strategies, and create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
If special educational teaching seems a little daunting right now, don't worry, we will support you with training, observations and advice to ensure you are fully prepared for your new role. Working with students with additional needs is highly rewarding and will provide you with the opportunities to develop your understanding of Special educational needs and the ways we can be creative with the delivery of our curriculum to ensure our learning environment is accessible to all.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet students' unique needs.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support student progress.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and support staff to enhance student learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods, as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals to support students' development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
