The Role:

We are looking for an Early Years Educator to work within one of our partner nurseries in Daventry. The nursery is expanding and we are recruiting an Early Years Educator to join the dedicated team working with babies and young toddlers (0-2 years). You will lead meaningful learning experiences and support children's care, growth and development in those important early months and years. About our Nursery:
The nursery has a warm, homely atmosphere and a dedicated baby-and-toddler area designed to nurture every child's early development. They believe that the earliest years matter most and support our team accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate, high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0-2, supporting all areas of learning.

• Be a key person: build positive relationships with children and families, observe and monitor children's development and adapt support accordingly.

• Ensure babies' and toddlers' routines (sleep, meals, hygiene) are managed sensitively and safely, and that the environment is nurturing and secure.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent care, maintain rigorous hygiene and safety standards and contribute to the wider room team.

Prerequisites / Person Specification:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) with experience in baby/toddler room preferred.

• Genuine affinity for working with very young children and understanding of their developmental needs.

• Strong observational and communication skills (with children, families and team).

• Able to maintain high standards of care, hygiene and safeguarding at all times.
