Educational Support Worker - SEMH & Behaviour

Location: Longsight, Manchester
Salary: £23,114 per annum (pro rata) - £115-£120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Long-term

Simply Education are recruiting for an Educational Support Worker to work within a supportive school in Longsight catering for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support learning and personal development through one-to-one and small group work.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and behaviour plans.
• Apply Team Teach techniques to manage and de-escalate behaviour.
• Encourage positive participation and pupil progress.

Requirements:

• Team Teach qualification (essential).
• Previous experience supporting children with behavioural or emotional needs.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner.

Desirable:

• Level 1 or 2 TA qualification.
• Prior experience within an SEMH, PRU, or Alternative Provision setting.
