Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English Literature lessons to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for literature and critical thinking
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Prepare students for exams, offering tailored guidance and encouragement
Work closely with colleagues in the department to share resources and best practices
Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school's community
What We Are Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in English Literature or a related field
Experience teaching English Literature at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (desired, but not essential)
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities
A passion for English Literature and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
