English Teacher - Secondary (Holmes Chapel Area)
£170-£220 per day | Full-Time or Part-Time | Long-Term Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan and differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Use effective assessment for learning strategies to monitor progress.

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Implement strong behaviour for learning practices in line with school policy.

  • Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives.

  • Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong passion for English.


What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.

  • Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.

  • Ability to deliver high-impact teaching and maintain high expectations.

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

  • A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.

  • Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school (preferred).
