Exam Invigilator - Secondary Schools

Location: Greenwich, London
Pay: £15-£17 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Contract Type: Temporary / Flexible

We are recruiting Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools in Greenwich during examination periods. This role is well suited to individuals who are organised, reliable, and able to work calmly in a formal exam environment.

The Role

As an Exam Invigilator, you will:

• Supervise students during examinations in accordance with exam board regulations

• Ensure exams are conducted in line with JCQ guidelines

• Distribute and collect examination materials securely

• Maintain a quiet, orderly environment throughout the exam

• Report any irregularities or incidents to the exams officer

Candidate Requirements

• Previous exam invigilation experience preferred

• JCQ training preferred (or willingness to undertake training)

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures precisely

• Professional, punctual, and dependable

• Availability to work on a flexible basis, including mornings and afternoons during exam seasons

Compliance Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

• Right to work in the UK
