Location: Silverstone, NN12 8UB
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £25,410 - £38,520 per annum (dependent on relevant qualifications and experience)

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher to join our SEND school in Silverstone. The successful candidate will be working with small groups of students aged 11-16 years old. This role requires an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to the needs of students with autism and/or Severe Learning Difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of each student.
  • Occasionally work 1-2-1 with pupils on off site intervention activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for all students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with autism and Severe Learning Difficulties.
  • Strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Ability to drive and have access to your own car for off site activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
