About the School:
Our client is an Ofsted-rated 'Good' school known for its inclusive and child-centred approach. Offering a full national curriculum - from early years foundation stage to vocational pathways (Unit Award Schemes, GCSEs, and BTEC qualifications) - the school is deeply committed to tailoring learning experiences to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student. It maintains close links with the local community and nearby sixth form providers.

The Role:
As Headteacher, you will have overall responsibility for the strategic leadership and management of the school. You will lead the school in delivering high-quality education, driving improvement, and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic vision and leadership, shaping the future direction of the school.
  • Lead, manage, and inspire staff, fostering a positive and collaborative school culture.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour across the school.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective SEND strategies, ensuring that students with Autism and SEMH needs receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and external partners.
  • Manage school operations, including safeguarding, curriculum development, and budgetary responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader who has:

  • Proven leadership experience at Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, or Assistant Headteacher level.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong understanding of SEND, particularly Autism and SEMH.
  • A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to improving outcomes for all students.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and the wider school community.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to manage resources effectively and deliver sustained school improvement.

Why Join This School?

  • Lead an Ofsted-rated 'Good' specialist provision with a supportive and collaborative ethos.
  • Shape the future of SEND education and make a real difference in the lives of students.

  • Opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a forward-thinking, child-centred school.
  • Enjoy job satisfaction by helping students reach their full potential.
