Simply Education is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a specialist SEND school supporting pupils from primary to secondary age.
This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA who is confident supporting learning, leading small groups and working flexibly across the curriculum in a specialist environment.
The school has been rated Good by Ofsted, with an Outstanding judgement for Personal Development, highlighting its strong, nurturing ethos and focus on pupil wellbeing.

The Role
As an HLTA, you will:
- Lead small-group and individual learning sessions
- Support the delivery of a broad, flexible curriculum tailored to individual progress
- Cover lessons when required, following teacher planning
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, engagement and behaviour
- Contribute to enrichment, extra-curricular and off-timetable activities
- Work closely with teachers, support staff and external professionals
This role suits someone confident working independently while remaining part of a close-knit team.
