Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary Schools

Location: Greenwich, London
Pay: £100-£150 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work on a supply basis with opportunities for long-term positions across primary schools in Greenwich. The Role

As an HLTA, you will:

• Support teaching and learning in the classroom under the guidance of teachers

• Take responsibility for classes in the absence of the teacher

• Assist with planning and delivering learning activities

• Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment

• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and school leadership

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience or relevant qualification as an HLTA preferred

• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies is preferred

• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills

• Professional, adaptable, and reliable

• Flexible availability for short-term or long-term assignments

Compliance Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

• Right to work in the UK
