Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary Schools
Location: Greenwich, London
Pay: £100-£150 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Supply / Flexible with potential for long-term roles
We are seeking experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work on a supply basis with opportunities for long-term positions across primary schools in Greenwich. The Role
As an HLTA, you will:
Support teaching and learning in the classroom under the guidance of teachers
Take responsibility for classes in the absence of the teacher
Assist with planning and delivering learning activities
Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, support staff, and school leadership
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience or relevant qualification as an HLTA preferred
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies is preferred
Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
Professional, adaptable, and reliable
Flexible availability for short-term or long-term assignments
Compliance Requirements
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
