Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Gravesend

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school environment? We are working with a range of welcoming and well-regarded primary schools in Gravesend who are looking for confident and capable HLTAs to join their teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking on additional responsibility, leading learning, and making a real impact in the classroom.

The role:

• Delivering lessons across a range of primary year groups

• Supporting class teachers with planning and classroom delivery

• Leading small group interventions and whole-class sessions when required

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment

• Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional needs

What we're looking for:

• HLTA qualification or significant relevant experience

• Proven experience working within primary schools

• Strong behaviour management skills and confidence leading a class

• A proactive, flexible and reliable approach

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
