History Teacher

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join our successful Humanities Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inspiring young people to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of history, from ancient civilizations to modern global events.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages [3-5, as appropriate], fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning in every student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.

• Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and wider school initiatives.

• Participate fully in school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• A degree in History or a related discipline.

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching history.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
