Salary: Competitive daily rates / MPS-UPS (dependent on role and experience)

Simply Education is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Kent and is seeking passionate and knowledgeable History Teachers to join our team.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are committed to delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable).

The Role:

As a History Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of historical events and critical thinking skills
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching History at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
