HLTA / Level 4 Teaching Assistant - High Peak Area
Salary: £100 - £130 per day
Temp to Perm Position

Simply Education are seeking a committed and experienced HLTA or Level 4 Teaching Assistant to join a reputable provision in the High Peak Area. This is a Temp to Perm role, offering the opportunity to work with students with special educational needs (SEN) in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The role will involve providing dedicated support to students, helping them achieve their full potential through tailored learning and encouragement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons to students with SEN.

  • Provide tailored support in both small group and 1:1 settings to meet the individual needs of students.

  • Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers on individual achievements and areas for improvement.

  • Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing classroom behaviour.

  • Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support the development of each student.

  • Assist in creating and delivering personalised learning plans and strategies to promote academic growth and well-being.

Essential Criteria:

  • HLTA or Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification.

  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Ability to work effectively in a classroom setting, both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Proactive, flexible approach to working with a range of students with different needs.

  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
