About the Role

Simply Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialist school in Crewe for pupils aged 10-18 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed ICT Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will inspire students to achieve their full potential, build positive relationships, and manage classroom behaviour effectively. The school is looking for a proactive, resourceful, and energetic ICT Teacher, with a genuine passion for SEMH education. Part-time applications will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

The successful ICT Teacher will:

  • Maintain high expectations of academic achievement for all pupils.

  • Motivate and engage young people with innovative, well-planned, and sequenced lessons.

  • Provide clear guidance and support to teaching assistants.

  • Apply trauma-informed practices and promote positive mental health.

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of managing behaviour that challenges.

  • Lead the ICT Teacher subject area as directed by Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
