We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with ADHD and other additional needs to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ADHD.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Support classroom activities and adapt materials to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external specialists.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with ADHD or other special educational needs.
  • Understanding of ADHD strategies and behaviour management techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
