Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging KS5 lessons

• Prepare students for A-Level examinations and coursework

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and wider school community

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic expectations

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Key Stage 5 / A-Level students

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)

• The ability to start after the Easter break
