We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team at a school in Peterborough. This is a permanent part-time, term-time only role, perfect for someone looking for daytime hours and a rewarding role within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals (no cooking involved)
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Washing up and general cleaning duties
• Supporting the team in ensuring all food hygiene standards are met

Requirements:

• A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Friendly, reliable, and a strong team player
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
