Year 2 Teacher Required - Outskirts of Grimsby
April 2026 (after Easter) - July (End of Academic Year)

Simply Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school located on the outskirts of Grimsby.

This is a full-time position starting after the Easter break and continuing through to the end of July.

The Role

• Full-time Year 2 class teacher
• Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
• Full planning and marking responsibilities
• Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
• Attending staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community
• Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports all pupils

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Strong knowledge of SATs preparation (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach
• Commitment to fulfilling planning and marking responsibilities to a high standard
