Learning Support Assistant - Sleaford

Start Date: Ongoing
Location: Sleaford Area
Contract: Long-term / Part-time / Day-to-day
Pay: £82.08 - £96.96 (dependent on experience)

We are always recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work across primary schools in the Sleaford area. Whether you are looking for long-term stability, part-time flexibility, or day-to-day opportunities, we have a range of roles to suit your experience and availability.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils' learning, promoting positive development, and contributing to a welcoming school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

  • Assist teachers with delivering engaging and accessible lessons

  • Support pupils with additional needs or barriers to learning

  • Promote positive behaviour and help maintain an inclusive classroom

  • Implement interventions and support plans as directed

  • Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and engagement

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting (advantageous but not essential)

  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to follow guidance while using initiative when needed

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

  • Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic about helping children thrive
