SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Primary and Secondary Schools
Location: Greenwich, London
Pay: £100-£150 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Long-term and Short-term / Flexible
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work on a long-term or short-term basis across primary and secondary schools in Greenwich. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to supporting young people with additional needs and helping them access education effectively.
The Role
As a SEN LSA, you will:
Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Provide 1:1 support to students, as well as small group support where required
Assist students in accessing the curriculum and engaging positively in lessons
Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge or experience of supporting students with SEN in primary or secondary schools
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies is preferred
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible availability to work on short-term or long-term assignments
Compliance Requirements
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
