- Assist in adapting learning materials and ensuring accessibility within classroom lessons.
- Help students manage emotional or behavioural challenges using restorative and positive behaviour strategies.
- Contribute to personalised support plans, EHCP targets, and pastoral interventions.
- Record progress, communicate effectively with teaching staff, and work collaboratively within the inclusion team.
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that encourages students to engage, succeed, and grow.
About You
- Experience working with young people in an educational, support, mentoring, or youth work role.

- Patient, resilient, calm, and able to provide consistent support to students who may present challenging behaviour.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a wider pastoral and inclusion team.
Why Join Simply Education?
- Access to a wide range of free CPD training, including safeguarding, SEN, and behaviour management.
- Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement.
- An opportunity to make a real impact on pupils' academic progress and wellbeing.
- Pathways for career development into SEN specialisms, pastoral roles, or teaching routes.
