Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Permanent Position - Stoke-on-Trent Area

Full‑time | 40 hours per week | Monday-Friday
Salary: From £12.71 per hour (dependent on experience & qualifications)
Start Date: ASAP

Simply Education are working closely with a well‑established nursery setting in the Stoke-on-Trent area who are seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years, child development and creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can flourish.

The successful candidate will be employed directly by the nursery from day one.


The Role

You will play a key role in supporting the daily running of the room, planning and delivering engaging activities, and forming strong relationships with children and families. You'll work collaboratively with the existing team to ensure a safe, caring and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality care and early education in line with the EYFS
  • Support the emotional, physical, social and intellectual development of children
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to follow room routines
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety and welfare standards at all times
  • Contribute to planning, observations and assessments

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification - essential
  • Strong experience working within an early years or nursery setting
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Understanding of safeguarding, child protection and welfare requirements
  • A positive, patient and nurturing approach
  • Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene or additional CPD is desirable
