Level 3 Qualified Childcare Practitioner

Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Hourly Rate: £13.68 - £14.990
Contract: Monday - Friday (Full-time, Shift-based between 08:00 - 18:00)
Start Date: ASAP

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Qualified Childcare Practitioner to join a friendly and nurturing early years setting in Newmarket. Our warm, child-centred environment is committed to providing exceptional care and education, supporting every child to learn, grow, and flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework

• Plan, prepare, and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities

• Observe, assess, and record children's progress and development

• Support and guide Level 2 practitioners and apprentices when needed

• Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved

• Ensure the nursery environment remains safe, inclusive, and stimulating at all times

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)

• Previous experience working within an early years setting

• Confident in planning and delivering activities to meet children's individual needs

• Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development

• Positive, nurturing, and proactive attitude with excellent communication skills

• Team player with a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and wellbeing
