SEN Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School - Newark-on-Trent - Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a mainstream primary school? Simply Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Newark-on-Trent.

The Role:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (part-time options available for the right candidate).
  • Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role.
  • A passion for supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
