Contract: Full-time, initially fixed-term with the strong possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right person
This SEMH School is an SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) specialist provision in Widnes, is seeking a dedicated maths teacher who can make a genuine impact on young people who need stability, understanding, and high-quality teaching.
About the Role
We are looking for a maths teacher who can:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons as an inspiring maths teacher across KS3-KS4
- Support pupils with SEMH needs while thriving as a compassionate maths teacher
- Work within a caring, trauma-informed team
- Maintain high expectations and consistency as a committed maths teacher
- Use creativity and flexibility in the role of a resilient maths teacher
- Build strong relationships and contribute to a calm environment as an empathetic maths teacher
This role is offered on a full-time basis and may become a permanent role for the right maths teacher who demonstrates commitment, passion, and strong impact.
About You
You will be a:
- Qualified maths teacher (QTS/QTLS)
- Motivated and reflective practitioner
- Professional who can manage behaviour positively
- Team player with a passion for supporting SEMH learners
