Mathematics Teacher - Secondary Schools
Role: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2025

Simply Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join one of our valued partner secondary schools in Stockport this September. The Opportunity

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that help students develop confidence and competence in numeracy, problem-solving, and logical thinking. You will be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and preference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Break down complex mathematical concepts and make them accessible to all learners.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform planning and intervention.
  • Promote a growth mindset and resilience in the face of mathematical challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department and support whole-school initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Subject specialism in Mathematics with strong curriculum knowledge.
  • A clear passion for teaching Maths and helping students overcome learning barriers.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
