Role Overview:

We're looking for a caring, energetic Nursery Assistant to support room leaders and practitioners with daily routines and activities. Ideal for someone with childcare experience or studying towards a qualification. The role is starting in November and will last until the summer in the first instance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children in daily activities and routines

• Help prepare resources and play areas

• Assist with snacks, hygiene, and sleep times

• Observe children and report concerns or achievements

• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion

Pre-requisites:

• Some experience with young children (voluntary or paid)

• Passion for early years

• Level 2 childcare qualification (preferred, not essential)

• Safeguarding awareness

All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. Any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Teams call.
