Physical Education (PE) Teacher - Secondary Schools
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Job Type: Full-time | Long-term or Permanent Opportunities Available

Simply Education is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Stockport from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and resilience in a school that values both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, including a range of team and individual sports.

  • Promote healthy lifestyles, physical fitness, and positive sportsmanship.

  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities.

  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for progression.

  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives that encourage student engagement and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.

  • Specialism in Physical Education, with a solid understanding of the national PE curriculum.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, particularly in practical environments.

  • A passion for sport, health, and inspiring young people to achieve their best.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Suitable for both ECTs and experienced PE teachers.
