About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced educator, with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse abilities and aptitudes of pupils.
- Assessment and Reporting: Assess, record, and report on pupil's development, progress, and attainment.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and engagement.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school community
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Possess an undergraduate degree relevant to primary education.
- Have successful experience teaching the primary curriculum.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of current theories and best practices in teaching and learning, particularly related to achieving high rates of progress for primary-aged children.
- Exhibit strong subject knowledge of the core National Curriculum
- Understand child development and progression and how these impact planning.
- Be skilled in effective strategies for managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Have an understanding of equal opportunity issues and how they can be addressed in schools.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
