Role Overview

Simply Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher for an Abingdon primary school. This position involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, assessments, and participation in school meetings and events. You will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, support pupil progress, and foster a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2
  • Mark and provide feedback on pupils' work following school policies
  • Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records
  • Support pupils with SEN and other additional needs
  • Participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and after-school activities
  • Ensure the classroom is inclusive, safe, and stimulating

Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified teacher (QTS preferred)
  • Experience teaching primary pupils across multiple year groups
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Strong planning, assessment, and feedback capabilities
  • Team player, flexible, and confident in full class responsibility
