Simply Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Newark-on-Trent. This is a part time position starting as soon as possible, ideal for someone passionate about helping children thrive in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher.

• Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning and ensure progress.

• Provide targeted support for children with additional needs, including SEN.

• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning resources, and daily routines.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes pupil engagement and well-being.

• Support behaviour management in line with school policies and promote positive interactions.

• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents to support each child's development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school setting.

• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.

• A genuine interest in child development and education.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

• A proactive attitude and the confidence to take initiative when needed.
