Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Location: Royston, Cambridgeshire

We are currently seeking a Qualified and Experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery setting in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years professional committed to supporting children's learning and development in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Support children's social, emotional, and physical development
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or above - e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, patient, and professional approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Safeguarding & Compliance

  • An Enhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply) is essential
  • Right to work in the UK
