Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering High-Quality Lessons: Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that are tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
• Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Use a range of assessment methods to monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and identifying areas for development.
• Effective Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment using appropriate behaviour management strategies.
• Differentiated Learning: Provide differentiated support to students with varying learning needs, including SEN (Special Educational Needs), EAL (English as an Additional Language), and those requiring stretch and challenge.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and support staff to share best practices and ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
• Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Contribute to safeguarding students and promoting their wellbeing, ensuring that students are safe and supported.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development (CPD), staying up to date with the latest educational research and practices.

Key Skills & Qualities:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS (or equivalent) and have relevant teaching experience.
• Passion for Teaching: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and learning, with a commitment to motivating and inspiring students.
• Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Adaptability: The ability to quickly adjust to different teaching environments and respond to student's individual needs.
• Classroom Management: Proven experience in managing a classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Empathy & Patience: A caring approach to supporting student's emotional and social development.

Essential Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in delivering the national curriculum at primary or secondary level.
• A current, clear DBS check (or the willingness to undergo one).
