As a qualified teacher, You will play a key role in creating an inclusive learning environment, using a range of teaching methods to support the diverse needs of students and ensuring all learners reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering High-Quality Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to the individual learning needs of students.
- Assessment & Progress Tracking: Use a variety of assessment methods to track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, employing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Differentiated Learning: Provide tailored support to students, including those with SEN (Special Educational Needs), EAL (English as an Additional Language), and higher achievers.
- Collaboration with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers and support staff to share ideas, resources, and best practices to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Promote a safe and supportive learning environment, contributing to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students.
- Professional Development: Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance your teaching practice and stay up to date with the latest educational strategies and research.
Key Skills & Qualities:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold QTS (or equivalent) and have relevant teaching experience in the classroom.
- Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptability: The ability to adapt your teaching style and strategies to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- Classroom Management: Proven experience in creating and maintaining a positive, respectful, and focused classroom environment.
- Empathy & Patience: A caring, supportive attitude with the ability to understand and respond to student's social and emotional needs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience of delivering the national curriculum at primary or secondary level.
- A clear DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
