As a qualified teacher, You will create an inclusive, supportive learning environment, using various teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure all learners reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons that are differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
- Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress using a variety of methods, providing constructive feedback to guide learning and development.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and effective classroom environment using appropriate behaviour management strategies.
- Differentiated Teaching: Adapt teaching techniques to cater to the needs of students with SEN (Special Educational Needs), EAL (English as an Additional Language), and those requiring stretch and challenge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with fellow teachers and support staff to share resources and best practices, ensuring cohesive teaching approaches.
- Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Contribute to the safeguarding and wellbeing of students, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development (CPD) to stay current with educational best practices and new initiatives.
Key Skills & Qualities:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS (or equivalent) and have relevant teaching experience.
- Passion for Teaching: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching, with a commitment to helping students succeed academically and personally.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a positive learning experience.
- Adaptability: The ability to adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of a diverse student cohort.
- Classroom Management: Experience in creating a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment.
- Empathy & Patience: A caring and patient approach to supporting student's social and emotional development.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience of teaching within the national curriculum at either primary or secondary level.
- A current, clear DBS check (or the willingness to undergo one).
