As a qualified teacher, You will work in collaboration with colleagues to provide high-quality education, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed and reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering Inspiring Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that are appropriately differentiated to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Assessment & Tracking Progress: Use a range of assessment methods to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment using effective behaviour management techniques.
- Differentiation: Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN (Special Educational Needs), EAL (English as an Additional Language), and those requiring additional challenges.
- Collaboration with Staff: Work effectively with other teachers and support staff to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
- Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Promote the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all students within the school environment.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance your teaching skills and stay updated with the latest educational trends and best practices.
Key Skills & Qualities:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must have QTS (or equivalent) and relevant teaching experience.
- Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching, with a commitment to fostering student success.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust teaching methods to suit the diverse learning needs of students.
- Classroom Management: Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively and create a positive learning environment.
- Empathy & Patience: A patient and empathetic approach to working with students, particularly those with additional needs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching within the national curriculum at primary or secondary level.
- A clear DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Desirable:
- Experience working with SEN students and a solid understanding of special educational needs.
- A commitment to inclusive education and supporting every student to achieve their potential.
